In thinking about it, fudgsicle really is an odd name for such a delicious treat! I think chocolate popsicle sounds so much better. I loved these frozen desserts as a child and because dairy and sugar do not agree with me, I have had to find a suitable replacement. And I sure did! If you love a chocolate Popsicle as much as I do, these are a must-try, healthy, (and Paleo), dessert!
You can buy any Popsicle mold you like. I bought these and they have proven to not only be easy to clean but so easy to use.
Ingredients
1/4C raw cacao (I’ve switched to this brand of cacao because it’s made in a nut free facility!)
1 can full fat coconut milk
dash of salt
1/2tsp real vanilla (optional)
3T maple syrup (add more if mixture is too rich)
1/2 avocado (you can use a full avocado; the mixture will be a little thicker but it will freeze all the same. It’ll just be a little healthier!)
Preparation
In a food processor or Vitamix/high speed blender mix all ingredients until smooth. Add in more cacao or sweetener to your taste. Pour into molds (should fill about 6-8 of the silicon molds) and freeze. {For these molds I freeze them top side down} Enjoy!
